Kimberly Winston is a national correspondent for Religion News Service, a secular wire service that covers religion. Her work has appeared in USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, The Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Times, among others. A graduate of the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, she joined RNS in 2013 when it created the atheism/humanism beat with a grant from the Todd Steifel Foundation. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
